Telling a Story (draft 1)

I live in Taipei and work as volunteer in a hospital.It really feels good to get the opportunity to help people.Yesterday morning, an old woman was sent to the emergency room because she had committed a suicide.After a long periods of time, the old woman finally come off the danger. A few days later, I found that she's very lonely, because none of he relatives came to visit the sick . As a volunteer, I went to chat with her. During the chat time, I knew she was a verry shy woman, and she's always in a sad mood. However, I didn't give up and went talking to her frequently instead. In the end, we had a good frinendship as well I knew the reason that had motivated her to commit a suicide.It was her son that had abandoned her after he got married.Needless to say , I cheered her up ; therefore, she had a totally different and new attitude toward her life. Moreover, she also promised me that she would always look the bright side of life in the future. Now, I feel even more enjoable of being a volunteer in hospital.It not only helps the patients cheer up again but also gives me a opportunity to do so .
